RENCANA PENGEMBANGAN DAERAH PENYANGGA TAMAN NASIONAL (Studi Kasus di Taman Nasional Bogani Nani Warta Bone)

Abstrak

The objective of the research is to formulate a planning of buffer zone development that integrated with the National Park management and local development. This research covers analysing the potential of the buffer zones, formulating the strategy how to increase the social-economic of the community based on the potential of the natural resources in buffer zone, increasing the understanding of the community to the national park’s role in the macro-ecosystem, and analysing the strength and weakness factors (internal), opportunity and threat (external) of managing the buffer zones (SWOT Analyses). The result of the research is as a basic data of the strategy development in managing the buffer zones dealing with Bogani Nani National Park Management. The conclusion in this research are: 1) the buffer zone development programmes is really important and have to be inline with the comprehensive development of the national park, 2) The strategy to increase the economic condition of the community in and around the national park must be integrated in national park management, 3) Increasing the understanding of the community to the national park’s role is important dealing with conserving the bio-natural resources and the ecosystem.
